The Databricks Certified Data Analyst Associate certification exam evaluates a candidate’s proficiency in utilizing the Databricks SQL service for fundamental data analysis tasks.

This certification covers knowledge of the Databricks SQL service, effective data management using Databricks tools, and adherence to best practices. It also tests the ability to perform data tasks within the Lakehouse environment using SQL, create production-level data visualizations and dashboards, and develop analytics applications to address standard data analysis challenges. Successful candidates are expected to be capable of performing basic data analysis using Databricks SQL and cover below topics:
